This is from the final haul I received from Jolse.com. I payed too much for this from their website and am not too happy about the speed of the shipping [well over a month]. I think this was $10-13 when at koreadepart it’s like $6. So yeah, no bueno. Nonethless, it’s the product I’m reviewing, not the store :3
This is pretty cute. The color comes in a cupcake themed tin [each cupcake has a flavor, this is peach sugar cake]. Each tin comes in a little plastic cupcake carrier. Though this is much smaller that a normal cupcake! Maybe about 2 inches in diameter?
The idea behind this product is a combination eye, lip, and cheek cream. For the price, [not the jolse.com price!!!!] that seems like a great deal.
The color is a very pure peach. Not overly pink, not too orange, just smack dab in the middle. It smells strongly of peach, but not real peach; kinda like those sugary peach rings from Haribo.
Definitely not a soft cream. It just kind of melts under you finger so you really have to dip it to get anything. I might get a brush just for this to avoid the mess.
Somewhat sheer, and easily blendable. Seems like it’s creamy enough to wear on lips, but I feel like this might crease on eyes.
Bare With color
As a cheek color, it’s pretty good. It shows up well enough, blends well, and looks okay on my skin. Nothing spectacular, though.
I still look a little sickly :<
Now for the lips:
Bare With color
This gets a big fat nope. You can hardly see the difference, other than where the color settled into my lines. Wearing it feels like a very cheap lipstick. It’s also very drying.
So let’s try out the eyes.
Also a nope. The color doesn’t look bad itself, but the formula creases up reeeeeally bad. Unfortunately, this is best left at cheek color. The price is cheaper than most cream blushers I’ve used, so I’d say it’s worth the money. It’s a cute product but it just didn’t live up to what it claimed.
Would I buy again? Possibly in another color. This pigment might just be too close to my skin.
