Double dupes: Revlon Colorburst Lipgloss in Peony and Peach Bellini

I wanted to go over a quick recommendation for those of you not willing to shell out $30 apiece for Nars’ two most popular lipgloss shades: Orgasm and Turkish Delight. Personally, I think it’s a waste, being that half your lipgloss ends up in food, in your mouth, on someone, on something. Basically, it doesn’t stick unless you have one of those uncomfortably sticky types.

I could buy a very nice meal for $30, and I’d prefer it wasn’t a whole tube of lippie -_-

That said, check out the comparison below:

Top to bottom, left to right: Nars Orgasm, Revlon Peony, Nars Turkish Delight, Revlon Bellini

Pretty close, eh?

On lips, the color of the revlon glosses are maybe a bit more sheer than nars.

Crusty bare lip

Seriously, what is with the up-lighting? I don’t even know how that happened. Anyways.

I like both colors very much, and they even look great layered over lipstick. At about $7 a pop, I’d say you get a pretty close match to Nars. Overall, I give this dupe a 4/5. The formula is one of the best you can find in your local drugstore, and the colors, whether dupes or not, are great essentials to keep in your makeup bag.
