Review: Saem Saemmul Chok Chok Cake Balm in Persimmon Cake

Image

Guuuh. These are so cute. I actually reviewed the red velvet version here and loved it. They run $5 each at Koreadepart and come in four colors. This one is Persimmon Cake, as you can see on the label.

The color is a warm orange and it smells really sugary with a hint of fruit. You can see I used it a bit!

The lipbalm sort of melts under your finger, so when you first use it, it might seem to hard and waxy. once it melts, the texture is quite different. It’s super moisturizing and non-sticky.

It’s actually very pink when swatched. Almost peachy looking! Very pretty.

With balm.

My mouth looks kind of stroky here. Mah bad. The color really livens up your lips and it stays on for quite a while. It’s very moisturizing and my lips felt much softer after using! Much like.

Rating: 4/5

Would I buy again? Yep! I want to try more colors, though
